Gönyeli Municipalty Folk Dance Group was established in 1983. The group aims to learn and pass on the traditions and culture of North Cyprus to future generations. Their repertoire includes performances of Turkish Cypriot Folk Dance and songs of North Cyprus.

 

Gönyeli Municipalty Folk Dance Group represents North Cyprus at folk dance festivals all around the world since 1986, İncluding festivals in Turkey, Macedonia, Spain, Germany and Bulgaria.
