Orkiestra Dęta Miasta Leszna and Moraczewo, Poland   

Orkiestra Dęta Miasta Leszna was created in 1994. From the outset the musicians work under the guidance of Zbigniew Śliwa, who is a musician of the Philharmonic Concert Hall in Poznań. Ryszard Jaśkowiak is the chairman of the orchestra. The orchestra consists of 40 musicians. The musicians work with five Majorette groups. The orchestra plays march, church, film, musical and jazz music.

In the year 2002 the first Majorette group was created. The Instructor of the groups is Katarzyna Czyżak (Tamburmajor of the orchestra). They have taken part in different Festivals both in Poland and abroad, including in Holland, Hungary, Czech Republic and in Germany.

The orchestra has received many awards, including bronze Medal for Tamburmajor on IX music festival in Szamocin (2005).

Folk Dance Group "Moraczewo" was founded in 1988 by Mrs. Kazimiera Rozynska. She is a resident of a Moraczewo village in Rydzyna province. Mrs. Kazimiera was also a president of a womans society in Moraczewo. From the first day a managers and instructors functions was held by Dorota and Grzegorz Smiglewski.

In our 19 years history we were giving concerts on almost every region of Poland and also in some European countries, like Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Italy,Greece, Ukraine, Slovakia, Russia and also in Hungary and Austria. We were usually invited to came back another time to these places. )
